His diverse professional journey spans intensive outreach with at-risk inner-city youth to leading vital community engagement portfolios and multi-year equity projects on Vancouver Island. As the founder of a dialogue-based consultancy, Parker is highly skilled in facilitation, conflict management, and creating spaces where diverse populations can connect across socioeconomic and cultural demographics.
Parker is an adoptee, born in Savannah, Georgia, USA, who grew up in a transracial family. Combining his personal history with his professional path gives him a unique capacity to understand and honor the individual journeys of youth who have experienced racism and discrimination. He brings to his mentoring work a profound passion, insight, and kindness that inspires lasting change in the young people who spend time with him.
