Affirmations

I ordered this book several weeks ago. When It first arrived, I wondered about it. It wasn't brightly colored; it didn't rhyme. However, I lent it to a foster mom with three young boys, each with their own unique challenges. She began reading it to them every night and has noticed a remarkable positive difference in their bedtime routine, including a lack of stress. Behaviour of one of the boys has also improved at daycare. I told the mom she should keep the book and that is why I am ordering another. Who knows? You may hear from me again if I give this one away, too.

I found the book very well written, thorough and helpful for the adoption community (both professional and non-professional) involved in the adoption transition of children 12 or younger.
